We are thankful for the men and women who have sacrificed so much and fought for our freedom. Will you join SPIRIT and recognize some of our local Military Heroes? Today we are recognizing Tim Ploe.
“From the time Tim was small he has always reached out to help anyone in need. He would stand up for the smallest kid on the playground at school and take food to the homeless person going through the restaurant garbage can. His attitude of caring and helping others has carried over in to his adult life. Tim has been in the United States Army for 14 years, two tours in Iraqi and one tour in Afghanistan. He has been awarded the purple heart and bronze star and he has continued to help others when ever the opportunity presents itself. He works hard to teach the young men to do not only what is right but that by working to make others successful it will in turn make everyone in the group successful. Tim also has a beautiful wife who supports him and is working with him to raise their three children. Tim is very aware that it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ that he survived his time in the war zones and that he is right were the Lord Jesus wants him to be. To me Tim is not only a war hero but a hero at home where he is living each day for the Lord.”
Nominated by Becky Ploe.
