Can you believe how fast summer is wrapping up now that August is here? It’s flying by but don’t let that stop you from enjoying a few more evenings out with the family for movies in the park. This week’s move is The Secret Life of Pets.
Movie Synopsis for The Secret Life of Pets: The quiet life of a terrier named Max is upended when his owner takes in Duke, a stray whom Max instantly dislikes. You can check out a review of the movie from Focus on the Family’s PluggedIn and watch the trailer below so you can determine if it is a fit for your family.
Grab a blanket, a lawn chair, family, friends, neighbors or co-workers, and head to Bellevue Downtown Park to enjoy FREE outdoor movies and popcorn! There are pre-movie activities planned before each movie, so come down early, stake your ground, and have some fun.
Movies begin at dusk (betwen 8:45pm and 9:30pm) and are shown under the stars on a huge, 40-foot inflatable screen with a state-of-the-art projection and sound system. Movies are free, family-friendly and carry a PG or G rating.
The series also features eight non-profit agencies, one per week. We invite you to participate by donating to the many programs and services each agency provides our community-in-need. This weeks non-profit is the Humane Society. If you feel led to donate, they are in need of: canned dog food, dry cat food, and Comfort Zone spray with Feliway.
Special thank you to sponsor, Charles Schwab.
