Next week, volunteers from across the nation will gather in Seattle to reach the city with the message and love of Jesus. Originally launched by Dallas-based Time to Revive, reviveSEATTLE is a non-denominational partnership effort with seven local churches, their congregations and over 100 out-of-town believers from 13 states. The outreach seeks to unite the church in Seattle and encourage believers to share their faith in order to seek revival in Seattle and the Nation. reviveSEATTLE is Time to Revive’s sixth citywide outreach in an effort to cover all fifty states with the message of Christ: Dallas Revival, REVIVE Santa Fe (NM), Awaken the Valley (Sedona, AZ), reviveFLINT (MI), and reviveASHEVILLE (NC).
For the eight days of reviveSEATTLE, volunteers will reach out to the community through conversation in the mornings and afternoons, focusing on the seven hills; West Seattle Hill, Beacon Hill, First Hill, Capitol Hill, Denny Hill, Queen Anne Hill, Magnolia Hill, and The Harbor.
Each day starts at 7:00 a.m. at the Seattle Center – Next 50 Plaza. Each morning starts at 7:00 a.m. and opens with prayer. It is free for everyone, however, they do ask that you RSVP for the outreach at reviveSEATTLE.org by clicking “Join the Team!” Daily outreaches will be on each hill and will start at 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Founder and CEO, Kyle Lance Martin, says the event is intended to spur on the church in Seattle and beyond to prepare the nation for the return of Christ.
Monday, April 15th, the last outreach day, will end with a Celebration on the Harbor at Waterfront Park featuring Christian singer/songwriter, Lindsay McCaul. The concert is also free and open to the public.
