In honor of the nearly 50,000 school support staff throughout Washington State, Governor Jay Inslee has declared March 9th – 13th as Classified School Employee Week. SPIRIT 105.3 is recognizing individuals who have distinguished themselves with their professionalism and faithful service to others in public schools. Join us to recognize some of the local men & women serving in our children’s schools? Today we are recognizing Karen who works in the front office at Kokanee Elementary School in Woodinville. This was sent to us by a parent at Kokanee Elementary. Read more about Karen below:
‘Karen is a very hard worker. She is always there to greet you with a smile and answer your questions. My kids have been at Kokanee for 8 years now and Karen has always been there when you need help. Late last year our family had a sudden death in the family. Karen was there for ALL of us, including me. She just has a bubbly personality that really lights up a room. Without Karen, the school wouldn’t run. We love you Karen for all you do for our kids and their families.’
SPIRIT 105.3 would like to thank Public School Employees of Washington helping us recognize Unsung Public School Heroes.
