Are you looking for a way to partner with SPIRIT 105.3? We have a few upcoming opportunities for you to help serve the community!
SHARE THE SPIRIT
SPIRIT 105.3 is hosting our SPIRIT Share Day on April 1st and the morning of April 2nd. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with strong communication skills to answer calls from listeners ready to pledge. You choose the hours available and we will gladly provide lunch and treats for our volunteers. You’ll hear inspiring stories of how God is working through our station in the community and in the homes of our listeners.
WORLD CONCERN ‘FREE THEM 5K’
The World Concern Free Them 5K raises awareness and funds to fight one of the most horrific crimes of our time, human trafficking. This event returns for the 6th year, Saturday, May 10, 2014. Interested in teaming with SPIRIT 105.3 to stop human trafficking? Sign up HERE!
We are also looking for help before the 5K too. It is crucial to get the word out soon about the event. We’ll be distributing 5k posters and flyers around Shoreline, Lynnwood, Lake Forest Park and other areas in the north end of Seattle. Can you join us THIS Saturday, March 15th, from 9-noon for the Poster Push? Email shellyp@worldconcern.org for more details.
BREAK A RECORD WITH SPIRIT 105.3
In case you haven’t heard, SPIRIT 105.3 is partnering with Redmond Town Center to break the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® for ‘Most People Dyeing Eggs’. We are counting down the days for this eggs-iting event, but need HUNDREDS to commit so we are sure to break the record. Will you be there? Register yourself and guests to make it official! Mark your calendar for Saturday, April 19th, then HOP on over to Redmond Town Center and bring your little ones to participate! Everyone who comes out will receive an Easter egg cake pop from Pinkabella!
If you are interested in helping behind the scenes at either of the previously mentioned or upcoming events, please contact Promotions & Marketing Director, Camille Birk at Camille@spirit1053.com
As a station, we feel blessed by the community support. Together, we are spreading the love of Christ in tangible ways.
“For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function,so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” Romans 12:4-5
God Bless!
