I’ve heard there are some people that like change. My stance is that those people are fictional. I believe most of us don’t. There’s a peace of mind and security to be in a comfortable place and it’s understandable that we want to stay there.
But change is inevitable.
Someone once said that the only constant in life is change. Ain’t that the truth! I think God doesn’t allow us to stay in one place because He knows that we can become stagnant. We say comfortable; He says stagnant. Change is progress. We all know that, at least our heads do. But our hearts are screaming, “Nooooo!!!” And sometimes it’s not very much fun. It might mean some goodbyes to the old and hellos to the new. But the beautiful thing about God is that He always is thinking about us and has a plan for our lives. And even though our circumstances may change, He never does. His love for us never changes.
I hope this encourages you.

I am struggling with a major change…My Best Friend of 19 years, who has lived in an apartment I made for her in the downstairs of my home, took her life on Monday, September 9th. She was a Christian, so I know where she is–still, the adjustment is hard.
We had 3 tickets to see Michael W. Smith and Amy Grant Christmas Concert on November 18th. Now I have an extra ticket and an empty seat that will be next to me.
I’m still bringing my daughter, who I introduced to both MWS and AG. I introduced her to their music when they appeared at an outdoor summer concert in Connecticut in 1991.
I would give almost anything to be able to have my daughter be able to go backstage to meet her 2 idols. She is now aged 42. It would be so special for her and would uplift my spirit as well.
I don’t know if this is possible, but I would gladly donate the empty seat/ticket in exchange for a backstage pass.
My friend, Lisa, was just 52 years old. She and I were both nurses. My employer is having a Memorial Service for her this Thursday.
Thank you for listening,
Susan N.

Oh Susan – praying for you! I’m so sorry for your loss. There won’t be a meet and greet at this show at this time so we won’t be able to exchange your ticket. However you are welcome to extend the invite for someone else to join you. We are continuing to hold you close as you walk through this difficult time. Blessings -Rebecca
