My heart melted when I opened the Seattle Times and saw an article about people helping people in our city. I had the privilege to talk with Chris Miller from SDOT about the Neighbors Helping Neighbors– Snow Shoveling Program in Seattle. This is amazing – The program was launched in response to calls from residents unable to clear their sidewalks during winter weather events, often hindering access to critical medical appointments.
