The Beatles were right – “We get by with a little help from our friends.” Safeway and Safe Streets are coming alongside Metro parks in Tacoma to make an important half of their summer playground program possible during the pandemic. Sliding and swinging are off the table, but Metro Parks is keeping lunch on the table thanks to their terrific partners. Nancy Johnson from Metro Parks joins Erica to talk about the community coming together – six feet apart but still connecting heart to heart.
