Breaking Bread Giveaway Winner #2: Jessi Zettlemoyer

We’re happy to announce our second Breaking Bread winner: Jessi from Marysville:

How are you celebrating Easter?

“Unfortunately, we will not be able to do much. We will be watching church online at Elevation. My husband just received notice today that that the 16th of April he will be let go from his Job at Amazon. He has a remote position and they have chosen to bring everyone back to the office and his office is in Arizona. That is not possible, so they are letting him go. He is our only income source. So, we will not be able to do anything extra. We have 6 kids so we will try and make it the best we can with Church and maybe we will play outside.”

In addition, Jessi is choosing to bless her sister’s family with an Easter meal. Here’s what she shared about Ashley:

“My sister Ashley, her husband and 3 kids, have been so kind and helpful to my family as we have been facing a pretty hard season of life with job loss, and some other things that have been rather hard to go through. My sister is always there trying to make our kids feel special and doing as much as she possibly can. We have not been able to afford Easter baskets for our 6 kids for since 2020. Its a large expense with 6 kids. Last year my sister’s family did baskets with precious moments stuffed animals for all our kids. she had a egg hunt, painted eggs and snacks. I would love to give back in a way that I would if we could afford it. Unfortunately, this is the 3rd layoffs since Covid its been difficult to do anything extra.”
