As we are in the midst of another summer at Downtown Movies in the Park, we want to share all the ways that God is moving through the Eastside. Read and see all the new blessings He is bringing through these events!

July 16th: Moana

We started off the summer strong! The attendance was higher than in previous years AND we were able to pray for a couple people at this community event! In particular, we prayed for a woman who underwent a divorce and lost her parents after immigrating here from Ukraine. God’s hand was evident in our interaction with this woman, as we were able to bless her with VIP seats!

We have the wonderful opportunity to give away four VIP seats every week during Mornings with Erica. Our giveaway winner was unable to attend at the last minute, which meant that God was able to point us towards someone else at the event. We are so happy to encourage this woman in her time of need!

July 23rd: DC League of Superpets

We love seeing y’all at these events! There was a whopping 2,000 of you at Bellevue Downtown Park tonight.

We were excited to have our sister ministry, King’s Schools, join us this time (they’ll be at more Downtown Movies in the Park this summer too!). Many of you kiddos loved the prize wheel at the King’s booth and for all the dog mom and dads out there, we’re glad you liked our SPIRIT bag dispensers.

We were most excited with the opportunity to connect more deeply with you – whether that be answering questions about who we are, or praying for you, or handing out Bibles. We always love to make new friends, so we were encouraged by those curious about SPIRIT 105.3 and CRISTA Ministries. We pray that God uses us to reach more people in this area! One of our Street Teamers was wearing our new “How Can I Pray For You?” shirt and several people came up to ask for prayer. Praise God for opening doors to love on others! We had a couple Bibles at our SPIRIT booth and were pleasantly surprised to receive requests for them! There is a clear hunger for God’s Love and Truth here.
