Mariella Satow is not quite fluent in American Sign Language just yet, but she is speaking clearly to every heart in the world. The 17-year-old has created something so lovely called SignUp, which allows children who are deaf and can’t read captions yet, to SEE their favorite movies in American Sign Language. It’s a Google Chrome extension that can be used on Disney +… but more definitively, a labor of LOVE. Her beautiful idea is generating smiles from precious children who are deaf, and their families too.
