Sam, Prayers over you as you go through this! I got this call too a year ago (the day after Easter) & just completed my treatment on Good Friday. The care & staff at Fred Hutch at UW Northwest have been wonderful! I can’t say enough about the care I received there. I think the best advice that I read is this: The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still (Exodus 14:14). Rest well in Him!
Corinne – You are beautiful. Thank you for your story and good words. I am writing that verse in my journal. Praying for your radiant health and ministry. You certainly ministered to me. Much Love. Sam
Prayers lifted up for you Sam. I also was diagnosed with breast cancer nearly four years ago. I am currently NED. The Lord not only healed my body from cancer, but gave me my very own person prayer warriors throughout the entire ordeal. I had all of my treatment at Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland. At the time it was called the Halverson Center, now it’s part of Fred Hutchinson. Everybody there is so caring. I highly recommend Kirkland location if you live closer to that area. It is all part of SCCA. The very best, at whatever location you choose. If you can, please keep us posted as we pray your way through treatment. Heavenly Father, I lift up Sam to you and am thanking you in advance for the healing you will provide for her body. I ask you help her through everything, hold her hand and help her to feel your loving presence at all times. I pray that Sam will not have any reactions to treatment nor side effects that make her uncomfortable. Thank-you Father for hearing my prayer, in your Precious Name, Amen.
