When you hear the name Michael W. Smith, you probably think of Christmas music, the classic song about friendship, and Amy Grant. Marinate on his name for any length of time, and you might start belting out “Place in this world” from back in the day or “Way Maker,” which is FIRE on the radio now.
But you may not think of a battle with alcohol and drugs. Well, he’s living proof that there is HOPE on the other side. Michael W. joins Erica for a conversation about the power of the voices in our lives, how the Way Maker is still faithful, being part of a tight-knit family and community, Cousin Camp… and why he is a walking miracle.
