We live in the land of the free because of the brave. On September 11, 2001, we saw the bravest among us sacrifice their own safety… and in so many cases, their own lives… for the sake of others. Today, we remember those heroes and pause to honor them.
I remember how I felt on 9/11… like I wanted to be near people I love… family and friends… and hold them a little closer. It’s fitting then, that my amazing friend Sheila is with us in studio today. When she’s not singing literally from her soul at North Sound Church, where we met, Sheila serves as the Purchasing and Contracts Manager at Seattle Fire. Join us as we remember what it was like for our heroes that day through Sheila’s eyes. And let’s all hold each other a little closer today.
