Beth submitted a story for SPIRIT 105.3’s Home for the Holidays contest. She would like to bring back her son and his wife from Chicago to spend time with the family. Congratulations Beth, Jacob & Cristina are flying home for the Holidays!
Read her submitted story below:
Our son Jacob and his wife were just married in August and had to move immediately following their honeymoon, to the Chicago area, for Jacob to join the football coaching staff at Trinity International University. They moved away from all of their friends and family, not knowing anyone in Illinois, but trusting in God’s leading of this pursuit. They cannot afford to return for the holidays. They would feel so honored and blessed by the opportunity to see family and friends again at Christmas time. Jacob, not knowing of my entering this contest for their sake, said just yesterday while on Skype.it would be a miracle if they could be home for Christmas. I believe in miracles!!
After the call, she sent us an email showing her excitement:
I just wanted to comment again about how appreciative we are to God and SPIRIT 105.3, for the miracle of bringing our son, Jacob and his wife Cristina, home for the Christmas!! That is so awesome, and we are all so excited!
I also wanted to mention that the first song I heard on Spirit after I had received the call about the ‘miracle’, was Overwhelmed by Big Daddy Weave!!
