This is a season of celebration, and we LOVE when you share all about your graduate. Tell us about yours in the comments below – We’d love to hear!
Meet McKenna. She’s wanted to be a teacher since 2nd grade. McKenna wants to positively impact and support each student that walks through her classroom door.
In April 2024, her mom emailed me when she was getting ready to take her Washington State Teaching test and asked me to pray! So we did!
McKenna didn’t get a normal graduation in 2020, but on June 14th of this year, she will! Her proud mama sent me a note so I could join in the celebration of McKenna reaching her dreams.
My favorite photo? She had her Kindergarten class sign her dress!

McKenna’s Mom shared this with us:
SPIRIT 105.3 has been there along this journey. The songs inspiring my family to keep going. We got this. Anne Wilson’s “Strong” helped McKenna so much. Her anthem. Thank you Sarah, thank you Spirit 105.3, all the on-air personalities for making us listeners more than listeners. This station is an extended family!
Congrats McKenna! Congrats, Patty!!! Confetti all around!
Catch hope & encouragement on Middays with Sarah Taylor, between 10am – 2pm!
