Bombas Blesses The Socks Off Abraham’s House!

SPIRIT 105.3. This is Erica.

Tina:

Hi Erica. This is Tina with Abraham’s house.

Erica:

Tina, one of my favorite people, an Energizer Bunny of a blessing. How are you, my dear?

Tina:

We’re doing great this morning! How are you?

Erica:

I know you are because word is, you just got a really big delivery, Tina.

Tina:

Yes. 22,500 pairs of Bombas socks.

Erica:

22,000!! Wow. I didn’t know it was that many pairs.

Tina:

Yeah, it’s pretty extraordinary blessing for sure. That’s a $135,000 grant, and we are so grateful.

Erica:

Thank you, Jesus. Now, for somebody who isn’t familiar with the Bombas Company, would you share their mission?

Tina:

Well, for every pair of socks that is purchased, they donate another pair of socks to a local homeless shelter. And this takes place all over the nation and we are the fortunate recipients of a very large donation. And our first order of business is then to redistribute these socks out to other nonprofits that we know are actively working with the unhoused, and get these things to people in need in these cold, rainy days as fast as we can.

Erica:

Tina, I know you, those socks are going to be in your hands for like five minutes. I mean, what does it feel like?

Tina:

It’s pretty wonderful to know that Jesus is mindful of those in need that. A lot of us can’t even see it. And Proverbs 14:31 reminds us that whoever is kind to the needy honors God, and to be able to get these out to people in this weather that need them the most, is truly we’re just the hands and feet of Jesus in this.

Erica:
