A Prayer Over Teachers & Parents

Lord, right now I just want to lift up parents who aren’t used to being teachers to their kids. I pray that your grace and your peace would be with them in moments of frustration or moments of not feeling good enough. I pray that you would just give them the peace that surpasses all understanding, that only you can bring. And that this season, this moment of life, that’s not like anything else we’ve been through, that we’d draw closer to our kids. And Lord I pray for all of the teachers out there that are missing our kiddos and their classrooms. Give them wisdom and guidance as we’re figuring out distance learning and the best ways to stay connected and for them to guide us in a way to get through this time. I hope that they would feel appreciated and just how much we as parents appreciate them. I hope they would know in this season your love and know just how much they are appreciated. We pray all these things in your name, amen.
