The Bible shows us the way to experience abundant life! When we receive the gift of salvation that God gives us through His Son, Jesus Christ, we are given both eternal and abundant life. But many of us seem to forget that the abundant life we have through Jesus is something we can have here and now, not something we have to wait to have later.
Here are 7 verses to encourage you in living the abundant life that Christ has for you today:
- John 10:10b – The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.
- Psalm 16:11 – You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever.
- Jeremiah 29:11 – For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
- John 14:6 – Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.
- Romans 8:28 – And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
- Psalm 36:9 – For you are the fountain of life, the light by which we see.
- 1 John 4:9 God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him.
