I have friends that are on both sides. Remembering God is in control can be a challenge. Perhaps you have had relationships fall to the wayside and in need of repair because of this past year’s political unrest. Just remember, we still will want to do the work God has called us to do regardless of what you do every day and regardless of who is president.
Alan Graham, founder of Mobil Loaves and Fishes that provides food & clothing & promotes dignity for the homeless, says, “Over the course of the history of the country, it’s only really mattered five or six times who is president. The rest of the time it was great we had a leader that could promote things and keep things moving along. But it was really important for example for the founder of our country with George Washington, Abraham Lincoln with the Civil War, our presidents during WWI and WWII. But most of our normal time it’s you and I at the grassroots level that are the difference makers so let’s make a difference.”
