Jessica Vasquez submitted a story on behalf of her husband, Jonathan. His extended family lives in Indiana and he hasn’t been back to visit in 20 years. To top it off, Jessica and Jonathan just celebrated their one year anniversary and she has yet to meet his side of the family! Congratulations Jessica & Jonathan, you were selected to able fly Home for the Holidays to visit family in Indiana!

My name is Jessica Sadler and I would like to nominate my husband Jonathan Sadler to fly home to Indiana for this Christmas holiday. He grew up in Indiana with his mom, sister and grandparents. He hasn’t been back for 20 years and all of his extended family is out there. This last June, his grandfather passed away and he flew there quickly to attend the funeral, but I had to stay home due to work. Jonathan and I have just celebrated our one year wedding anniversary and I have not yet had the opportunity to meet his family. His grandfather was like a father to him. This will be the first Christmas his grandmother will be alone. Jonathan would love to be able to be home this Christmas to support and surprise his grandmother during this difficult season.
