Memorial Day always makes me pause and breathe a little deeper as I think about the men and women who gave their lives so we could live and worship freely. Pastor Jesse and I keep coming back to Jesus’ words about greater love, and how the sacrifice of our service members reflects that same self‑giving love.
My heart is full of gratitude, prayer, and awe for both God’s grace and the people who paid such a high price for our freedom.
