I recently came across one of my favorite quotes from John Piper:
“God wrote a book, that reality blows me away every time I stop to think about it. Pages and pages of God, His thoughts, His words, His heart. Right there… just a few inches away.“
At my daughters recent open house (She graduates High School in a few days!), she and her friend opened their Bibles on a table and invited guests to pick a pretty highlighter and illuminate their favorite verse. Grandparents, former teachers, friends and family members paused to leave a handwritten note in the margin. Words of wisdom, encouragement and blessings.
In a world that moves fast and often feels uncertain, the Word of God is a steady anchor. To see handwriting and names you recognize in the margins of your Bible is a gift that will last your whole life long!

Congrats on your daughter’s HS graduation, Sarah!! The verses I’d pick for new High School grads are Prov. 3:5-6, & Phil. 4:4. God will make a way, & no matter what happens in life, there’s always the Lord to rejoice in.
