Making Jesus famous at Seattle REPRESENT Worship Night

“Make Jesus famous.”

This was the vision behind Seattle REPRESENT Worship Night, a first-of-its-kind worship event for the next generation. Inspired by the words of Dr. Brandon Beals at Venture Church, our friend William Wang wanted to gather college students together for the sole purpose of making Jesus famous. And Seattle, you did just that!

We were in awe of God’s presence on UW Seattle’s campus. Even with the rain and wind, all 250+ of you stayed put and sang praises to the Lord. We loved meeting everyone across various college ministries, including students from UW Bothell, Northwest University, and SPU! There were also parents, neighbors, and pastors at the event! It was so special to be a part of this communal worship.

The student volunteers embodied Christ’s servant heart so well – some led worship and prayer, others floated around to welcome people, and there were some who even sacrificed their physical comfort to make sure others were dry as they worshipped, by moving tents and chairs around!

We felt blessed to be a part of such an uplifting event! We are confident in our Gen Z friends as they grow to become our future church leaders. Thank you, William, and your team for inviting us to be a part of this worship movement.
