It started with a man who left a note in his apartment in San Francisco that said: “If someone smiles at me on the bridge today, I will keep living.” No one smiled on that bridge and tragically, the note-writer took his life. A gentleman from Camano Island read that story and instead of feeling sad for a moment and moving on with life, he decided to start spreading as many smiles as he could… and it’s changing lives, one hand-painted note card at a time.
