Hyflex Teaching Model
The Hyflex teaching model allows both in person and remote teaching to happen simultaneously. Larger classes are divided into 2 or sometimes 3 groups and then rotate which days are in the classroom. On off days they log in via zoom. Smaller classes that do not exceed room capacity are able to meet in person every day. The classrooms are equipped with monitors and cameras so that in person students and remote students can see and interact with one another.

The #CampusClear app allows students and faculty to report their symptoms (or lack of symptoms) daily to keep an eye on the health of the community. At the time of this blog there is not a single COVID case on campus. COVID cases are updated weekly online. Specific procedures are in place so that every student and faculty member have a clear understanding of what to do if they have symptoms.
