SPIRIT 105.3 listeners connect with Ana and her down-to-earth, everyday stories. Like this one: “If you had told me 6 years ago that this is what my life would be: married, two kids and working at a Christian radio station I would have said huh? Who are you talking about? It reminds of that line from Forest Gump ‘life is like a box of chocolates….ya never know what you’re going to get.’ I had almost given up hope of getting married and having kids but then I met my husband in an unlikely place – match dot com. I NEVER in million years thought that you could find love on the internet. Clearly I was wrong. We married within a year and had two beautiful daughters shortly after. It has been an incredible blessing and I know God had a hand in it. I’m what you would call a new Christian. I’ve always believed in God but never knew what it meant to have a relationship with him. As I began slowly handing my life over to Christ the idea of a career at SPIRIT 105.3 blossomed. At the time, I thought nah, “I’m not Christian enough yet, I’m still working through my past sins, and they won’t want someone like me.” But God wanted someone like me! He had been leading me to this very place all along. So, if life is like a box of chocolates I believe God is the chocolatier. He knows exactly what’s in that box. For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
