It seems as though the time of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year is a season full of family memories. Since we have a new morning show, we wanted to let them share some of their favorite memories from the holidays
Scott: I grew up on Whidbey Island. Every Christmas Eve, my Mom used to make a steaming pot of Oyster Stew. Now that I have a family of my own, I do this for my own kids. It’s so simple, but it always takes me right back to those special evenings as a kid — coming home to a warm home and a hot meal after Christmas Eve service.
Erica: Near the end of October, probably in my Strawberry Shortcake footie pajamas, I’d stand on something so I could reach the Christmas records. I couldn’t wait to sing along with Alvin and the Chipmunks and help Mom deck the halls as Nat King Cole filled our home with the sound of soulful joy. When I think back to moments like that, I realize I’ve experienced true contentment.
Tune in Thanksgiving Day starting at 4pm, when SPIRIT 105.3 starts playing your Christmas favorites.
You might be asking yourself “Why is SPIRIT playing all Christmas music?” The reason we do it is because we want to reach all people with music that sounds familiar. Christmas music is part of everyone’s experience. The message that we know as Christians, of hope, and the TRUE reason we celebrate will connect with more & more people that hear your station.
Share the station with a friend. You will not only be sharing music, but also sharing our faith.
When you hear all Christmas music on SPIRIT 105.3 – think reaching more people with the Spirit of Christmas.
And to add to your Christmas Festivities, we will be commercial free Christmas Music starting Christmas Eve at 6pm through Christmas Day! Let Christmas SPIRIT be the backdrop to your Christmas Cheer. Made possible by Sky Nursery, Fischer Plumbing and Fellowship Home Loans.
