(Seattle, WA) Six year old, Micah, from Seattle, WA has been recognized as a SPIRIT 105.3 “Superstar Kid.”
Micah is best described as a 6-year-old world changer. When Micah saw a video last year of a girl his age walking long distances in dirty clothes to collect dirty water in a rusty tin can, his heart absolutely broke. He began to ask his family what he could do to help other people in need.
Micah’s heart lit on fire to make a change and he signed up for the World Vision 6k. Micah was very persistent in getting as many people to sign up with him and he encouraged his family and classmates to also make a change. So far, Micah has been able to raise over $5,000 for the cause! Micah’s compassion encourages everyone around him to look beyond themselves and make a big impact in the world.
Micah’s goal is to get clean water accessible to at least 7,000 people in his lifetime. It’s an honor and a privilege to recognize him as one of our “Superstar Kids.”
Special thanks to Wild Waves Theme & Water Park for helping us recognize Superstar Kids in the community.
