It was a big night for a Seattle chef. The James Beard Award recognized June Baby, a local restaurant in the Ravenna neighborhood. Edouardo Jordan is the first African-American chef to be awarded this prize! In his acceptance speech he thanked his mom for starting him down this path. Full story
