Our last tour in Israel was amazing. You won’t want to miss this incredible adventure. Donna Totey, our production assistant, went on the last tour and put together 10 amazing things you’ll see when you join us on this trip of a lifetime. Sign up today!
Walk through the Old City of Jerusalem – It is simply beautiful. No place like it.
Float on the Dead Sea – No kidding…you can’t not float. They tell you not to get it in your eyes. Guess what I did first off?
Sea of Galilee – Went to the beach where (it is thought) that Jesus cooked breakfast for the disciples after his resurrection.
Masada – Ancient fortress where a group of Zealots held off the Roman army for 2 years. Ends tragic though. Coolest ruins around.
Caesarea Maritima – Used to be a major city but slowly went under water – on the Mediterranean Sea – beautiful
Garden Tomb & Golgotha – The tour guide does great job explaining why they think this is where Jesus died and why they think that that is the tomb he was laid in. You get to go inside the tomb. Life changing!
Tel Megiddo aka Armegeddon – Very cool ruins and field below where you can imagine the last battle happening.
Western Wall aka Wailing Wall – Very holy place for Jews. Gals’ shoulders must be covered or a covering will be provided for you (I called mine the “Cape of Shame”) and men must cover their heads (again or a yarmulke will be provided). The Jewish people slip into the cracks, pieces of paper with their prayers on them.
Lion’s Gate in the Wall of Jerusalem – One of 7 gates – they all have a theme. Plus you can see the place where they used to pour boiling oil on their enemies.
Mount of Beatitudes – Place where Jesus delivered the sermon on the Mount. It looks like a natural amphitheater.
FOOD!!! So good!
Freshly squeezed pomegranate juice On the streets everywhere.
