- This is not an April Fools joke…Snoqualmie pass was closed for hours this morning because of copious amounts of snow that fell over the weekend!
- Distracted driving is out of control and causing extra patrols around King County to crack down on distracted driving. April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month and officers want to remind you that if you are behind the wheel eating, applying makeup or on the phone texting, you are breaking the law. A new poll found that 96% of drivers believe it is dangerous to use the phone while driving but 64% still do it!
- Congratulations to the crowned Washington State Daffodil Queen! Princess Allie Brooks beat out 23 other princesses from Pierce Country to snag the crown. Allie is an honor student and ASB president from Lincoln high school in Tacoma. Check out the Daffodil Parade this Saturday, April 7th.
- In Sports: Notre Dame won the National Championship! They had a game winning shot against Mississippi. Tonight, Michigan will take on Villanova in the Men’s NCAA National Championship Game.
