(Auburn – WA) Debbie Fogelquist of Auburn has been recognized as a SPIRIT 105.3 “Unsung Hero”.
Debbie is an exemplary model of always being there when people need help. For Thanksgiving Debbie organized a Thanksgiving food drive, collecting nearly 30 turkeys, stuffing, rolls, and other food collections to distribute in baskets to underprivileged people in the community.
In addition to helping out in the community, but she ungrudgingly cares for her grandkids every day after school. While the parents work, Debbie follows up with the students’ on their homework and knows their test schedule. She even taught the youngest how to read! Debbie is very appreciated in all of the work she does with her church, community, and her family.
With servants’ hearts and passion for others, Debbie Fogelquist is a shining example of the “SPIRIT of Seattle.” It’s an honor and a privilege to recognize them as one of our “Unsung Heroes.”
