President Obama will travel to Orlando today to pay his respects to victims’ families after the worst shooting in U.S. history. The president is making the trip to “stand in solidarity with the community as they embark on their recovery,’ the White House said. In his address earlier this week, the president called the attack on Pulse nightclub “an act of terror” and “an act of hate” that will never “change who we are or the values that make us Americans.”
Sen. Bernie Sanders will address his supporters via live video tonight, but what he will say is anyone’s guess. Sanders has said he plans to continue his insurgent presidential campaign through the Democratic convention in July, and an email announcing the video message said only, ‘The political revolution continues.’ Sanders has not conceded the Democratic nomination race even though Hillary Clinton has claimed victory after securing a majority of delegates.

Two more cases of the Zika Virus have been found in King County. One of them is the mother of a teenager who recently learned she had the virus. The daughter had been to Haiti. The other is a 30 year old woman who had traveled to Honduras. There have now been four cases in King County and eight in Washington State.
