Just 10 days after severe winter storms hit the mid-South and Northeast, another wave of travel-impeding weather will sweep across large areas of the country. On Tuesday, 6- to 12-inch snowfall with areas of 12-18 inches are expected from parts of Arizona to southern Minnesota. Further south, severe storms and tornadoes are possible from southern Illinois and Indiana to Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama.
