We cannot wait for the Rock & Worship Roadshow. Are you ready? Here is the ultimate guide for the 2016 show.
1. The show will last about 3 hours and 15 minutes.
This isn’t counting the pre-show party with Danny Gokey and Citizen Way, which goes on for about 45 minutes just before the show starts. So if you’re coming to the pre-show party, expect to be there for around 4 hours.
And remember – this is an approximate time! It may be wise to give yourself a 30-minute cushion if you’re scheduling a babysitter for the kids or your Uber ride home.
2. There’s not just one, but TWO stages.
In addition to the huge stage up front, there’s also another stage in the middle of the arena. Some artists will be playing on that second stage. Some might sing from both. It could happen.
So if you’re wondering where the best seats are, you’ll want to find a spot where you can see both stages well. (This info is especially useful for VIP ticketholders, who get first dibs on seats.)
This also means there’s not a bad seat in the entire arena!
3. The Facebook Event Page for your show will help you nail down the ultimate game plan.
One of the things that makes your trip to a 10,000+ person event stressful is figuring out the logistics, right?
No worries. Head over the your show’s Facebook Event Page and ask other fans in your area your most pressing questions…or answer a few of theirs!
When to arrive
Where to park
What restaurants to go to
What to do before/after the show
Just head over to the Roadshow Facebook “Events” page, then click on your specific show, and you’ll be there. Bookmark your show’s page and check in on the conversation as often as you like.
4. Artists can often be spotted after their performances at……their merchandise tables.
No promises on who you might see, but it’s likely you’ll find some of your favorite artists hanging out there after the concert. Go say hi and get something signed.
To make sure you get to meet the Newsboys, grab a Newsboys Experience ticket and you’ll gain entrance into an exclusive meet & greet with the guys.
5. Yes, you CAN take pictures and video!
You know how most shows are like, “Hey, no flash photography! Hey, no video! Hey, no fun”
Well, this isn’t that kind of show.
In fact, you’re ENCOURAGED to take pictures and video of the artists. And you’re also encouraged to Instagram, Facebook and tweet them and tag us (who knows, maybe we’ll share it!). Use #spiritconcert!
6. When should you arrive?
That depends…what kind of seats do you want?
While there are no bad seats in the entire arena, some seats are closer to the action. Many of our more intense Roadshow-ers camp out for the best seats hours in advance. So if you want one of those, you’ll want to get to the show very early.
Of course, if you have VIP tickets then you already get in before everyone else so it doesn’t matter, as long as you’re there for the early VIP entry time.
(Normally VIP entry time is 4:30, but check the details of your show just to make sure.)
If you don’t mind where you sit, since there truly isn’t a bad seat, we recommend getting to the show an hour and a half early.
7. Be prepared for some astonishing surprises.
We’ve seen some wild things on the Roadshow stage in the past. Mainly surprise collaborations between artists you’ve never seen perform together.
No promises! We have no idea what the artists have planned…but keep an eye out in case something special happens!
