We are thankful for the men and women who have sacrificed so much and fought for our freedom. Will you join SPIRIT and recognize some of our local Military Heroes? Today we are recognizing Faataui Iuli. Read below to see what his wife, Easter, said about him:
My husband to us, is the ultimate hero 🙂 He always puts everyone else’s needs ahead of his own, he is always worried about his soldiers as if they were his own kids. Even though he works all day and is super, he always comes home and wants to play with the kids and helps me around the kitchen. He’s a youth leader and an usher at our church, he takes being a youth leader and an usher very seriously. He has such a big heart for loving people and helping people, that it broke our hearts when he was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy. He doesn’t let it slow him, he is always doing the most and is more active now since having this heart condition. He has been on several deployments, almost one after the other and he always tells us before he leaves, that God has a purpose for him out there in Afghanistan and Iraq. That while he is out in the middle east, he never worries about us too much because he knows GOD is taking care of us while he fulfills his purpose oversees. His soldiers LOVE him and always talk highly of him, he may not be a hero in other people’s eyes but he is definitely a super hero in ours.
SPIRIT 105.3 would like to thank GEICO for helping us recognize Military Heroes.
