(Seattle – WA) For many years worship pastor, Nathan Mark, has always wondered, “Why has God given me this gift of music and writing?” On September 29, 2014 Nathan was surprised with a call from midday SPIRIT 105.3 host, Paul Fredricks, about winning the Local Music Project. The contest allowed Nathan to grow as a musician and lead him to a potential career in song writing and performing. He wants to use his gift to glorify God and to build His kingdom.
To be entered into the contest, Nathan submitted his original song, “Far Above All”. The song was inspired when Nathan was reading Ephesians. He comments, “It talks about Jesus being given a name above any other name. He’s been raised “far above all” rule in authority… I just thought it was a beautiful picture of Jesus – Far above all”.
Since last Fall, Nathan has stayed busy meeting with John Mays of Centricity Music, and Seattle music producer and songwriter, Scott Krippayne. Scott is set to be the producer of his album.
Nathan Mark is aiming to raise $10,000 to help cover the cost for producing an album. He hopes this will be enough to cover the EP with “Far Above All” in addition to a few other songs he wrote. To donate to Nathan’s Kickstarter Campaign click here: http://nathanmarkonline.com/kickstarter
