In honor of the nearly 50,000 school support staff throughout Washington State, Governor Jay Inslee has declared March 9th – 13th as Classified School Employee Week. SPIRIT 105.3 is recognizing individuals who have distinguished themselves with their professionalism and faithful service to others in public schools. Join us to recognize some of the local men & women serving in our children’s schools? Today we are recognizing Elaine from Mill Plain Elementary School in Vancouver. Read more about Elaine below:
‘Elaine and I have been working together for about three years. She is a special education staff assistant. Elaine gets so excited teaching our kids and is a great teacher. She can relate to them and the kids respond very well to her. She also helps out with the bulletin boards all over the school. She is amazing and I am so lucky to learn from her each day. She is very dedicated and will stop at nothing to support the kids and her co-workers. She is also a great friend. We at Mill Plain are so lucky to have her. I think she would love if you reached out to her. She works so hard and I think it is time that her dedication and hard work is noticed.’
SPIRIT 105.3 would like to thank Public School Employees of Washington helping us recognize Unsung Public School Heroes.
