I wake early to journal and read. I appreciate coffee and listening to music. I keep my camera within reach to snap pictures of whatever catches my eye at home or in nature. I am an impressive backyard farmer and gardener. My day is not complete without walking the dog with my family and then sipping Sleepy Time tea.
I grew up, the oldest of six children, on a farm in a small town in eastern Washington. Over the past 18 years, I have gradually acculturated to city life. I have nearly accepted that in the Pacific Northwest the sun rarely shines. I have been married for 15 years. My husband and I live in the Seattle area with our five children and dog, Sunday.
My goal for Christian counseling:
Growth is the only evidence of life. – John Henry Newman
My hope is for my clients to walk away from a session with new insight and a goal for the upcoming week, whether it is behavioral, emotional, mental or spiritual. My ultimate goal is to help you summon the courage to face your concerns, to provide a safe place where you can work through them at your own pace, and for you to experience the happiness, wholeness and healing that comes out of that process.
