Autumn officially arrives on Saturday and the forecast is for more beautiful, warm, sunny weather for the rest of the month. We’ve had such gorgeous weather all summer long! (Our lawns are pretty thirsty, though, with so little rain). Many of us feel rather wistful as we say goodbye to summer and hello to fall.
Like the changing seasons in nature, God has designed our lives to be seasonal, too. We can approach any change with either apprehension or anticipation. Let’s choose anticipation! Embrace it with open arms and see what God will do in this new season of your life.
I hope you had a wonderful summer filled with memories you’ll cherish for years to come, and that autumn brings with it the joy of family, friendships, good health, new learning experiences, and creativity!
“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3:1
Love,
Martha
