Hello SPIRIT Listeners! My name is Katie and I am the Marketing Director at Restore Vision Centers.  I am very passionate about LASIK, not only have I learned a lot about it over the last few years while working at Restore Vision Centers, but I have also had this life-changing procedure!  Before LASIK, I had astigmatism in both eyes but my left eye was particularly bad with 3 diopters of astigmatism.  I could no longer wear contacts after I had an allergic reaction to a contact solution.  For me, getting LASIK has positively impacted my life – everything from seeing the alarm clock in the morning to hiking to running to not having to constantly clean off my glasses!  It is such a relief to just be able to see and enjoy life’s adventures.

Recently, I got married and I really appreciated not having to deal with my glasses or contacts.  A little bit more about me - I am from Iowa, but I have fully embraced the Pacific Northwest and the rain!  My husband and I have adopted a puppy a few months back – he can be a handful but he is a sweet heart and sometimes makes me very thankful that I do not have glasses anymore (he likes to give big kisses).

I look forward to getting to know you over the coming months and help answer any of your LASIK questions!
