UPDATE:  On September 3rd, Youth For Christ received their new vehicle from Campbell Nelson in Edmonds. The vehicle will be used for: Getting kids from point A to point B -- school to youth for Christ programs. Sometimes parents are unable to provide transportation to said programs, so having a vehicle really helps. Also, they had been borrowing "sketchy" vans and other vehicles for a while -- this vehicle will help provide stability. Youth For Christ has 5-7 sites in 2 counties, this vehicle will be used at all sites. At the programs, they provide opportunities to learn life skills, social skills, financial skills, and the like. Staff will be able to also make house visits with the vehicle. House visits, statistically, decrease the chance of at-home violence due to the fact that people could be stopping in at any time.
