How YOU can Share the SPIRIT:

  • Pay for someone’s drink order at a local coffee shop
  • Thank your police/fire department with lunch
  • Help at an animal shelter
  • Send flowers
  • Buy a movie ticket for someone
  • Donate toys to a children’s hospital
  • Pay for someone’s load of laundry at the Laundromat
  • Mow your neighbor’s lawn
  • Babysit for free
  • Write an encouraging letter
  • Help someone carry groceries to their car
  • Pick up someone’s tab at a restaurant
  • Visit a nursing home
  • Write to a soldier overseas or a veteran
  • Serve at a homeless shelter
  • With so many social media dangers and apps like Snapchat and Instagram, it’s so hard to know when/if your child should even have a phone and if she does, where is the line? Ah the great debate and while we hear you, we think the debate should go beyond should my child have a cell phone or not. If you decide to not give your child a phone, great! But if you do (that’s wonderful!), have you set your daughter up so she knows how to handle the device in a mature and healthy way?
