“Whatever It Takes” Kind of Commitment

“Whatever it takes” kind of commitment.

One of the kids at Quinn’s Football practice 'lost his lunch' only 20 minutes in to their 2 1/2 hour practice. He cleaned himself up, laughed out loud and ran back out onto the field. Wow. I’m not sure that I could have done that at 10 years old, or at 37!

Through the people around us, God shows us incredible commitment.

There are people in and around me who, by their commitments, have changed and molded my life. My grandparents' love and commitment to each other, my dad’s commitment to work and to his family (even though he dropped out of school in 10th grade) have been life changing and empowering to me.

I love this quote, “Commitment is staying loyal to what you said you were going to do long after the mood you said it in has left you.”

How many times has something positive come out of that type of commitment Share your story with us on our FB page!

  • Steve & Amy have been a popular morning show for over five years! They are real people who love talking about family, faith, and life in general, and of course playing lots of uplifting music.

  • With so many social media dangers and apps like Snapchat and Instagram, it’s so hard to know when/if your child should even have a phone and if she does, where is the line? Ah the great debate and while we hear you, we think the debate should go beyond should my child have a cell phone or not. If you decide to not give your child a phone, great! But if you do (that’s wonderful!), have you set your daughter up so she knows how to handle the device in a mature and healthy way?
