He Knows Your Heart

Before moving to Seattle, we lived in Barcelona, Spain, where the locals speak 2 languages- Spanish and Catalan… and not many people speak English.  We worked hard to learn the languages so that we could communicate with others, but for some especially important conversations, we needed to have the right translator- someone who understood both English and Spanish well and could communicate our thoughts and words with the right heart and emotion.

Aren’t you glad that speaking to God doesn’t require a special translator? Even when you’re not sure how to put your deepest feelings and thoughts into the right words, through the Holy Spirit, God knows exactly what’s on your heart! That makes it easy to share our life with Him.

At SPIRIT 105.3, we’re really thankful that you choose to share your life with us, too! Every day, we pray that the music and words on SPIRIT 105.3 inspire you to live your life completely immersed in the Hope of Christ. If we can pray for you, or encourage you personally, please click here to connect with our prayer team!

In Him,

Matt Stockman

I can't seem to find where you can enter to win the VBS prize. Could you help me with that so I can enter my church?

I was originally thinking about writing about how grateful I am, heading into this holiday season, that my family and I have been so incredibly blessed in so many ways. We have been, and I am. But my friend’s situation got me thinking about how the sting of suffering, whether it’s physical, relational, or psychological, can be even more acute in a season when we have a cultural expectation of joy and happiness.
