Just The Right Song at Just The Right Time

Just the right song at just the right time.

I can still remember my old apartment, over a decade ago, when I was crying and trying to start a prayer to God, but words escaped me. I knew I had a Bible somewhere, but it had been so long, I didn't even know where to look. So I did the next thing that came naturally: I turned on the radio and began to "seek" - until I found SPIRIT 105.3. The songs began to shape prayers for my broken heart, and I realized: this is the music I want in my life. All day, every day. Perhaps you share this experience of just the right song coming on at just the right time like Heidi:

“We found out about a year ago my daughter has leukemia.  Anyway, we’ve been driving back and forth to Children’s Hospital from Olympia all year and I cannot tell you how many times the perfect songs have come on or your DJs have just had great words of encouragement that was so needed this year.  I just wanted to thank you very much and let you know that you’re probably affecting hundreds of people who just don’t even have time to give you a call and let you know how awesome that is, because it’s been a year and this is the first time I’ve had the opportunity to call and let you know that.  So, thank you very much and keep up the good work."  - Heidi

April 1st and 2nd is Share the SPIRIT, an on-air celebration of all the ways God is using SPIRIT 105.3 to change lives all over the greater Puget Sound. We would love if you would share your story of hope with us! We also invite you to partner with us and provide hope & encouragement through the music for hundreds of thousands who need it, just like Heidi… just like me.

Thanks,

Firstly,i wanna just say how much you are able to make me laugh, nod, and smile, with your stories and experiences, and,I have already used your phrase about "Life,is not an emergency!"...and even tho i have many years on you,its all the same in life. Thank you for so much"relatibility" in all things! You are so sweet! And thanks for letting "Sam"fill in when you have the "sniffles", and the more serious "stuff", its always a pleasure to hear her familiar voice of faith also.

  • Make The Call

“I need to call my friend and have lunch, it’s been way too long!” I think this and then forget. Does this ever happen to you? I regret this happening to me all too much in the past 7 years. Since I got married and had kids life is like one big tornado! My excuses are that I’m just too tired tonight, or I can’t because this week is crazy, my kids have too many activities, or my husband works a lot and I feel guilty taking the time, plus I just can’t spend the money. Any of these sound familiar? The thing is what if that person is no longer there to call? Read More
