"Because a lifetime is irrelevant"

Ashley had been listening to SPIRIT 105.3 for only a few weeks  when she found out she and her husband were going to have a baby!

He was born a beautiful healthy boy! At 10 weeks old he died at naptime. Ashley said that although it was a tragic time—she wouldn’t have traded that time together with him. She said, “We really found out afterwards what his purpose is — because a lifetime is irrelevant — he had his life and it was beautiful.” Ashley shared how this little guy brought family members together that hadn’t spoken for years, reconciled situations that seemed hopeless gave the gift of forgiveness where there had seemed like there was none.

Now, Ashley and her husband have a baby boy... their second son. I love Ashley’s heart—I remember her saying, “Okay, everything is okay. Our first son is in a beautiful place. He’s in a place that we spend our entire lives striving to be.”

I can’t help but to believe that God somehow was using SPIRIT to prepare Ashley and her husband — reminding them that He is making things happen. Even when you don’t see it, feel it or understand it. God is working.
