The Power of SPIRIT
0 0

Each morning, I travel the long I-5 corridor from north of Arlington to Shoreline. One of my favorite things about my commute is watching other drivers to see if they’re singing along to SPIRIT 105.3! The other morning, as Tenth Avenue North’s song ‘Worn’ played on the radio, I caught a lady in the car next to me singing at the top of her lungs, and pouring her heart out to God - tears streaming down her face, caught in a wave of the furious force of God’s grace.

That moment illustrates the power of SPIRIT 105.3. God uses every song and every message, to make those “just the right song at just the right time” connections, in cars, offices, homes, factories, hospital rooms, shelters, etc. all over the Seattle area.

October 8th and 9th, is Share the SPIRIT, our on-air celebration of all the ways God is using SPIRIT 105.3 to change lives. Also, you’ll have the opportunity to partner with us to reach the 10s of 1000s of people all around us who need the same hope and encouragement you find on SPIRIT 105.3. Please prayerfully consider partnering with us, as together we Share the SPIRIT. Your gift of $29 monthly helps to make sure another 105 people just like you feel God’s love through the radio.

I wonder if this might be the first time this lady has smiled since April 25th, when an earthquake ripped her life into a new shape? The reason she’s smiling is because she’s receiving an earthquake survival kit from a World Concern worker. A kit that maybe you paid for, during our special morning for Nepal Relief. That morning, in just 3 hours, you provided over 4,100 survival kits.“The opposite of love is not hate, it's Read More
