We remember...

Paul Fox is a survivor of the 9/11 attacks at the World Trade Center. He was in the south tower, on the phone with a colleague in the north tower when the first plane hit. We had the privilege of talking to him about his experience that day, how God clearly protected him, and how his life has changed since that day 12 years ago.

The old cliché says “a picture is worth a thousand words”, but in this case… this picture is worth an unending flood of thousands upon thousands of thoughts, emotions, and memories of the day our world changed. Even though 12 years have passed, looking at a photo like this brings it all back again for me- like it just happened.

On this day we remember… the victims and first responders who perished, and those families who still have an empty place in their lives, missing someone who they will never see again in this life.

Maybe today is a good day to give an extra hug to someone dear to you in thankfulness for what we have and to pray for those who are sacrificing to protect our freedoms and our families.

Remembering with you,

Matt Stockman - SPIRIT 105.3 Program Director

Then the Greatest Gift will be born and we will remember another world and Home and our true names and how there is nothing ever to fear. Read More
